Wow what a great couple of weeks! Our new website has been up and running since January 1st 2019 and has been a huge success. We are delighted to say that we are now able to get a real insight into how our customers like to shop and more importantly what they want to buy! This means we can really focus on creating pieces our customers love whilst maintaining the unique designs that set us apart from other sellers.
Our statement jewellery continues to be popular
It looks like people are still loving our handmade double sixpence necklaces - these continue to grow in popularity and are consistently our best sellers year on year. Their versatility with any occasion and outfit means that you really do get a lot of value! Holly Willoughby was the first to really make the style popular and we were inspired to create our own version. The comeback of yellow gold jewellery has seen a surge in their popularity as too the recent trend of coin jewellery made popular by Instagrammers and the Made in Chelsea crew to name but a few. Ooo London fashion Week is coming up next month and I hear on the grapevine coin jewellery is set to stay for this Spring/Summer19. I'm going to follow the catwalk closely and will certainly blog about what was popular, how people are wearing their jewellery and what has inspired us.
Exceptional quality
Our Double Sixpence necklaces are excellent build quality and care has been taken at every step to produce a truly fantastic piece of jewellery:
⦁ Genuinely circulated cupronickel sixpence coins (unlike other double sixpence necklaces which are cast and therefore mass produced)
⦁ Can be personalized by choosing a significant date between 1953 and 1967
⦁ Handmade and soldered to order so you know yours has been specifically made just for you
⦁ Two colour options:
1. Unplated - the original silver tone shines through and is suspended on a fine sterling silver chain
2. 24 carat yellow gold plated - a deep gold finish hanging from a filled gold chain. Filled gold is of higher quality than typical gold plated chains as the gold is pressure bonded to another metal. This means it has 100% more gold than gold plating alone.
⦁ We made the decision to only use sterling silver and gold filled chains throughout our entire store. We wanted high quality jewellery which would not tarnish, flake off or stain skin.
What's coming up?
Our next blog post will focus on Valentines day. We like to have a few specific pieces picked out especially for various key dates in the year and we love a promotion so look out for discounts!
