A sterling silver King George V wartime sixpence coin necklace suspended from a sterling silver 18 inch length chain and a pair of sterling silver threepence coin earrings on sterling silver ear wires. This style of earrings and necklace are very on trend and will be the thing to be seen in this season. These earrings and necklace will be handmade just for you - this is a unique design and unlike any other you will ever find on the highstreet (or on Etsy for that matter)!
The necklace features a sterling silver sixpence coin with the attractive Lion and Crown design on one side and the head of King George V on the other side. "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe". The Sixpence is believed to bring wealth and happiness in the marriage so why not modernise the tradition and gift a beautiful sixpence to the bride to wear as a necklace instead?

The earrings are a pair of handmade tiny delicate dainty coin earrings made from genuine British Threepence coins with sterling silver ear wires. The perfect special gift for your wife, girlfriend, mother, bridesmaids or even yourself!
This stunning minimalist jewellery gift set is handmade to order just for you in our Cambridge workshop. Silver is fast becoming scarce and expensive so grab your beautiful sterling silver jewellery set while you can! I only use genuine coins (no casts) so your jewellery was once currency! All other components (jump rings, chain and ear wires) are sterling silver so are of a much higher quality than some of the other silver plated jewellery you may find.
Delivered in a branded box - upgrade to our luxury gift box for the perfect gifting experience. Each pair of earrings and necklace will arrive polished to a high shine which can be easily maintained with an occasional gentle rub with a microfibre cloth. Reverse of coin visible.
Each coin is carefully selected for quality and detail, the large 3 in the centre of the earrings indicates it's previous value (threepence - also known as thrupenny or thrupenny bit). The necklace features the lion and crown in the centre of the coin face with SIXPENCE written clearly on the lower edge. These coins have a high silver content and are very delicate slim pieces. They are also hypoallergenic because they are sterling silver.
Alternatively a similar set using a King Edward sixpence coin instead of the King George V sixpence is available.

I only use genuine publicly circulated coins with every effort made to use those with minimal marking rejecting any that have become too worn by the hands of time. Finished earrings and necklace may vary slightly from the images shown. Every pair is handled carefully to ensure you receive the highest quality product possible. This set is handmade and will be dispatched within 1-2 weeks of placing the order. Delivery is FREE within the UK. A signature may be required upon arrival. International delivery is available (cost depends on your location - calculated at checkout). Please get in touch if you require your order sooner and I will do my best to accommodate.

I want you to love your jewellery but if something’s not quite right, I’ll make it right. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
How to start a return
To begin a return, just email me (Katie) at info@mintique.co.uk with your order number and reason for return. Once your return is approved, I’ll send full instructions on where to send your package.
Please contact me before sending anything back - items returned without prior notice may not be accepted.
Return conditions
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unworn and in its original condition
- It must include original packaging
- You’ll need a receipt or proof of purchase
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Damaged or incorrect items
If your item arrives damaged or not as described, please contact me immediately at info@mintique.co.uk with a photo and your order number. I’ll sort it quickly and make it right.
