Luck, love, and a piece of 2025 you can wear forever.

This isn’t a typical coin ring. It’s made from a brilliant uncirculated 2025 Sixpence - struck this year in recycled x-ray silver and designed to carry a centuries-old tradition of luck into the modern day.

This ring is carefully shaped and polished by hand in our Cambridge UK workshop, giving it a sleek, smooth finish while preserving the integrity and perfection of the coin. Lightweight, low-profile, and beautifully understated, this ring is ideal for everyday wear or as a unique wedding band.

Whether you’re getting married in 2025, celebrating a milestone birthday, or marking an anniversary, this ring freezes the year in silver, making it a personal time capsule you can wear every day.

Why choose this ring?

Because this year only happens once - and so does this coin.

✅ Genuine 2025 Sixpence – brilliant uncirculated, never in public circulation
✅ Made from recycled x-ray silver — sustainable and meaningful
✅ Slim, elegant band — perfect for women’s hands or subtle everyday wear
✅ The sixpence has been a lucky wedding token for centuries
✅ Handmade to your exact size using our Perfect Fit Method
✅ Free UK shipping & presented in a gift-ready box

The Sixpence: a lucky wedding tradition

For centuries, brides have worn a silver sixpence for luck - a symbol of prosperity, love, and happiness in marriage. This 2025 issue keeps the charm alive, with a reverse design by Quentin Peacock based on the classic 1928 sixpence, and King Charles III’s official portrait on the obverse.

💡 Did you know?

  • The sixpence tradition dates back to the reign of Elizabeth I
  • 2025’s sixpence coin is struck from silver reclaimed from medical x-rays
  • Brilliant uncirculated coins are struck twice for sharper detail

The creation process of your beautiful new ring

Each ring takes several days to make, with meticulous attention to detail at every stage. I only use genuine coins, rejecting any that aren't perfect enough for my customers.

Because of the handmade process and natural variations in minting, each finished ring may differ slightly from the photos shown — that's what makes yours completely unique.

Your ring will arrive in a beautiful presentation box, ready to gift (or keep for yourself!).

How do I choose my necklace length or ring size?

Necklaces: The easiest way to work out your preferred necklace size is to find a necklace you already wear and like the length of. Open it and measure clasp to clasp. This will give you the total length. Bear in mind if you are ordering a double coin necklace this will add to the over all length i.e ordering an 18 inch Sixpence double coin necklace will result in an overall length of 18 inches PLUS the width of the 2 coins.

Rings: Please place your order with your best guess. I always double check your ring size before sending your handmade ring to you - find out more about my Perfect Fit Method here.
