The 18 carat yellow gold plated coins are suspended on a delicate high quality sterling silver chain plated in 18 carat gold chain. In response to your valuable feedback, we've innovated our design with a significant improvement: the addition of a clear, jewelry-grade epoxy resin on one side of the necklace. This protective layer is crafted to rest gently against your skin or clothing, effectively preserving the necklace's radiant gold plating. This subtle yet essential enhancement ensures that the beauty of your necklace endures through regular wear, keeping it as stunning as the day you first put it on. The original non-plated coins have a sterling silver chain. All are finished with a high polish complete with protective layer.

Each chain is 18 inches in length. The gold plated pieces have an additional jump ring on the chain so that they can be worn at the 16 inch length.

Please note the chain length selected is for the chain only and is added to the pendant. This pendant is 33mm in width and the chain will be 18 inches so an 18 inch chain would be attached to the pendant making the entire length of the necklace from clasp to clasp 19.3 inches/49cm.

Sixpence coins from this era were minted in cupronickel - each necklace will arrive polished to a high shine which can be easily maintained with an occasional gentle rub with a microfibre cloth. Please consider this metal when purchasing if you have allergies. The coin is palladium plated under the gold plate specifically to act as a barrier plate on jewellery. However the wearer of this necklace should strongly consider if they have a nickel allergy - although I have taken steps to protect the wearer a small amount of nickel may still make contact with the skin.
