A subtle statement piece with real British history behind it.

This British sixpence enamelled tie pin features a genuine Queen Elizabeth II sixpence, carefully hand enamelled, sealed with a jewellery-grade clear resin, and set in a classic silver-plated tie pin. Each piece is finished by hand in our Cambridge workshop, combining historic coinage with refined modern craftsmanship.

The reverse of the sixpence, featuring the crowned floral emblem representing the nations of the United Kingdom, faces forward in this design. The addition of hand-applied enamel enhances the detail while preserving the integrity of the original coin beneath, giving the piece depth, colour, and quiet distinction.

Designed to complement our enamelled sixpence cufflinks, this tie pin is ideal for men who appreciate coordinated details and meaningful accessories rather than mass-produced pieces.

Whether worn on a wedding day, at a formal event, or given as a thoughtful gift, this is a piece that carries both story and substance.

This piece can be upgraded with our Mintique of Cambridge luxury branded jewellery box, designed to complement the heritage nature of our jewellery and make the unboxing experience feel truly special. Perfect for gifting.

Colour options

Choose from six finishes:

  • Blue – a timeless “something blue”
  • Green – rich and botanical
  • Purple – deep and romantic
  • Red – bold and symbolic
  • Black – classic and understated
  • Clear – no enamel, showing the original sixpence in its natural state

Each enamelled coin is finished by hand, meaning subtle variations may occur - a hallmark of the process and part of each piece’s character.

Date options

Dates available (or let us choose the date for you):
1953 - 1967

As with all Mintique of Cambridge designs, this piece is made slowly and intentionally - bringing together history, craftsmanship, and modern wearability in a form that feels personal rather than mass-produced.
