On the outside, timeless elegance. On the inside, real history.

This delicate silver ring might look like a simple band - but inside, it tells a story that stretches back over 100 years.

Handmade from an original pre-1920 British Sixpence coin, this wedding band hides all the original coin detail on the inside of the ring - visible only to the wearer. It's a quiet nod to tradition, luck, and history, all wrapped into a modern, minimalist design.

A secret only you will know ...

These rings are made from real Sixpence coins - minted before 1920 when coins were still made from sterling silver. Traditionally, a sixpence was tucked into a bride’s shoe for good luck on her wedding day. Now, it’s lovingly reshaped into a wearable heirloom.

💡 Did you know?

  • Before decimalisation, the Sixpence was one of Britain’s most beloved coins
  • Many families passed them down through generations as good luck charms
  • The pre-1920 Sixpence was made from 92.5% sterling silver - just like your ring

The creation process

Each ring takes several days to make, with meticulous attention to detail at every stage. I only use genuine, publicly circulated coins, rejecting any that are overly worn or damaged by time.

Because of the handmade process and natural variations in minting years, each finished ring may differ slightly from the photos shown - that's what makes yours completely unique.

Your ring will arrive in a beautiful presentation box, ready to gift (or keep for yourself!).

A ring as subtle as it is special. Add it to your basket - or explore other smooth and detailed designs in our Coin Ring Collection.
