This ring is made from a pre-1920 Shilling coin so shows the original lettering from the coin on the inside of the ring - the outside has been smoothed so no original detail remains. Before 1920 all Shilling coins were sterling silver and as such make beautiful wearable jewellery. This is a solid piece and lends itself well as a gift for the man or woman who has everything or somebody who enjoys unusual jewellery. Consider this piece as a wedding ring or wedding band, eternity ring, anniversary ring, engagement ring or even a commitment ring.
