Mass-produced rings from the high street? Not your style.

You’re the kind of couple who believes your love story deserves more than a generic ring. You want meaning. Legacy. Something that feels like you.

This one-of-a-kind wedding ring set is handmade from two original 1819 British sterling silver coins - crafted over 200 years ago and now shaped by hand into wearable history. No replicas. No castings. Just two coins, steeped in the past, ready to be part of your future.

The Sixpence ring is lightweight and slim - a delicate yet sturdy choice for smaller fingers. The Shilling is broader and bolder - ideal for those who prefer a statement band. Together, they’re a perfect contrast: different, yet made to match. Just like you.

Why choose these rings?

Because your story is rare — your rings should be too.
These are not off-the-shelf pieces. They’re handcrafted heirlooms made from genuine 1819 coins — a time when British craftsmanship, empire, and elegance were at their peak. They’ve survived centuries to become part of your story now.

Coin History: Why 1819?

Minted during the reign of King George III, 1819 sits at a turning point in British history. The Napoleonic Wars were over, the Industrial Revolution was in full swing, and society was evolving rapidly.

Wearing a coin from this year is like wrapping your promise in a moment of transformation — both personal and national.

💡 Did you know?

  • 1819 was the year the Peterloo Massacre shocked Britain into political reform.
  • The world’s first savings bank opened in London in 1819, helping ordinary people save securely for the first time.
  • Lord Byron’s poem Don Juan was published — a scandalous tale of passion and rebellion.
  • Queen Victoria was born on the 24th May, 1819.

The making of your heirloom

Each ring is meticulously crafted over several days, with attention to detail at every stage. I only use genuine, publicly circulated coins, rejecting any that are overly worn or damaged by time.

Because of the handmade process and natural variations in minting years, each finished ring may differ slightly from the photos shown - that's what makes yours completely unique.

Your rings will arrive in a beautiful presentation box, ready for your wedding day.

These aren’t just rings. They’re vows cast in silver.
Handcrafted from real 1819 coins, they’re rich in story and increasingly difficult to source. Each one is a limited piece of history — and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Make your wedding unforgettable with rings as rare as your bond.

How do I choose my necklace length or ring size?

Necklaces: The easiest way to work out your preferred necklace size is to find a necklace you already wear and like the length of. Open it and measure clasp to clasp. This will give you the total length. Bear in mind if you are ordering a double coin necklace this will add to the over all length i.e ordering an 18 inch Sixpence double coin necklace will result in an overall length of 18 inches PLUS the width of the 2 coins.

Rings: Please place your order with your best guess. I always double check your ring size before sending your handmade ring to you - find out more about my Perfect Fit Method here.
