British Sixpence Sterling Silver Coin Ring

A delicate vintage British Sixpence sterling silver coin ring handmade to measure and finished with a high polish finish. A statement ring which can be customised with a date and bespoke size. Known as a tanner or sixpenny bit this beautiful coin was minted right up until decimalisation in 1970. However before 1920 all Sixpence coins were sterling silver and as such make beautiful wearable jewellery. This is a pretty piece and lends itself well as an unusual gift for the woman who has everything or somebody who enjoys unusual jewellery. They also make excellent wedding rings, eternity rings, engagement rings and anniversary rings for someone who wants a unique piece. The band shows the coin design both inside and out.

Dates available:
1888 - 1910 (1894 not available): design of coin is composed of the words 'Six Pence' in the middle with a crown above and date below with a wreath surrounding. Therefore the face of the ring will not say Sixpence on it but will show the date and wreath design with King Edward/Queen Victoria inscriptions on the inside.
1911 -1919: ring will look as shown in the pictures above. The face with 'Sixpence' and date clearly visible.

F - Q (half sizes available).

Band width for both designs of sixpence will be approximately 4.5mm.
