This stylish keyring boasts a beautiful Shilling coin embellished with black enamel to highlight detail and finished with polished resin. This is encased in a silver coloured mount with a simple split ring. Reverse of coin not visible.

The shilling was a coin worth one twentieth of a pound sterling, or twelve pence. From 1970 it was worth 5 new pence. It was first minted in the reign of Henry VII circulating until 1990. It was made from silver from its introduction in or around 1503 until 1947, and thereafter in cupronickel.

This keyring would make an ideal gift for anyone who remembers using the shilling as a child - or likes unusual stylish keyrings!

Choose your date between 1927-1965 or ask us to choose for you. Please note the design on the coin will change depending on year of minting. If you would like to know which design is associated with a specific date please message me.

Each keyring takes days to make with meticulous attention to detail at every stage. We only use genuine publicly circulated coins with every effort made to use those with minimal marking rejecting any that have become too worn by the hands of time. Finished keyrings may vary slightly from the images shown. Every pair is handled carefully to ensure you receive the highest quality product possible.
