An Irish Threepence coin featuring a hare set in a silver plated finding with sterling silver chain. Enjoy plain with a high polish or customise with hand painted enamel. Finished with a resin coating. Reverse of coin not visible.
Similar in size to our modern 5p piece this coin features a hare with the words ‘leath reul’ meaning ‘half sixpence’. This unusual design would make an ideal birthday and special occasion gift for somebody who has everything, or indeed an animal lover! Struck in nickel and then later cupronickel.

Necklaces: The easiest way to work out your preferred necklace size is to find a necklace you already wear and like the length of. Open it and measure clasp to clasp. This will give you the total length. Bear in mind if you are ordering a double coin necklace this will add to the over all length i.e ordering an 18 inch Sixpence double coin necklace will result in an overall length of 18 inches PLUS the width of the 2 coins.
