A refined British classic, reimagined as a modern lapel pin.
This British sixpence lapel pin is made using a genuine historic sixpence, carefully mounted onto a silver-plated lapel pin fitting and finished by hand in our Cambridge workshop. Understated and timeless, it’s designed to sit neatly on a jacket lapel and add meaning without drawing attention away from the overall look.
You can choose a specific year, making this a particularly thoughtful gift - whether to mark a birth year, wedding year, or another meaningful date.
This piece can be upgraded with our Mintique of Cambridge luxury branded jewellery box, designed to complement the heritage nature of our jewellery and make the unboxing experience feel truly special. Perfect for gifting.
Please note: Images may show multiple lapel pins to illustrate different dates and designs. This listing is for one (1) lapel pin, made with the year you select.
Depending on the year selected, the sixpence will feature one of two monarchs:
Both versions carry the familiar sixpence design and deep-rooted associations with good fortune, prosperity, and British tradition. Please note that coins dated 1952 are not available due to very low mintage of sixpences that year.
