1967 Sixpence coin silver necklace - 55th birthday present. A lucky sixpence layering coin necklace on a sterling silver chain
1/10
Necklace length

A beautiful 1967 Queen Elizabeth 2nd sixpence coin necklace made to order in our Cambridge workshop. A single sixpence coin soldered on to a sterling silver jump ring and suspended from a sterling silver chain.

A perfect and on trend necklace to gift to someone special on their 55th birthday - mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, best friend!

Please select a chain length: 14 inch (35.5cm), 16 inch (41cm), 18 inch (46cm) or 20 inch (51cm).

The date on the sixpence necklace will be 1967 (year of birth). One side of the coin has an attractive floral design and the head of Queen Elizabeth II on the other side.

We only use genuine circulated sixpence coins and each one is carefully selected to ensure it is of the best possible quality for our customers!

Sixpence coins from this era were minted in cupronickel - each necklace will arrive polished to a high shine which can be easily maintained with an occasional gentle rub with a microfibre cloth. Please consider this metal when purchasing if you have allergies. The coin is palladium plated specifically to act as a barrier plate on jewellery. However the wearer of this necklace should strongly consider if they have a nickel allergy - although I have taken steps to protect the wearer a small amount of nickel may still make contact with the skin.

How do I choose my necklace length or ring size?

Necklaces: The easiest way to work out your preferred necklace size is to find a necklace you already wear and like the length of. Open it and measure clasp to clasp. This will give you the total length. Bear in mind if you are ordering a double coin necklace this will add to the over all length i.e ordering an 18 inch Sixpence double coin necklace will result in an overall length of 18 inches PLUS the width of the 2 coins.

Rings: Please place your order with your best guess. I always double check your ring size before sending your handmade ring to you - find out more about my Perfect Fit Method here.
